Your responsibility

• Culturing of mammalian cell lines, including transient transfection, stable and transduction with lentivirus.
• Molecular biology work.
• Flow cytometry and next-generation sequencing.
• Recombinant protein expression, purification, and characterization.
• Plan and execute experiments independently in accordance with established guidelines and specifications.
• Utilize scientific standards and established guidelines to document experiments and their outcomes in the LIMS.
• Investigate specific problems and questions independently.
• Review content and quality of scientific data.
• Write scientific and internal reports and protocols.
• Present and report results and interpretations to internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to a culture of clean and fully operational lab infrastructure.
• Contribute to a culture of scientific excellence.
• Contribute to a culture of a safe work environment.
• Manage specific aspects of laboratory infrastructure (senior).
• Onboard new Associates (senior).
  

Your experience

• Bachelor, Master or vocational qualification in laboratory biotechnology or a related field.
• More than two (research associate) or five (senior research associate) years of relevant lab work experience after education. Having industry experience is viewed as a significant advantage.
• Experience in mammalian cell culturing, molecular biology, flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing and/or protein purification.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a laboratory setting.
• Capability to produce clear records and data reports in English.
• Capability of using MS Office programs, experience of LIMS system.
